As we get older we start taking more pills. Vitamins, minerals, supplements, and pills the doctors give you. Once a week we pull out the pills and pill holder and start sorting pills. And as we get older and become less stable it becomes harder to control the pills and get them in the correct box. This is a simple tray to help sorting the pills. A pillbox for each day of the week threads into one side of the tray. Place the pills on the tray and slid the pills into each pillbox. With the pills in the pill box the remaining pills can be pushed into the end section, lid put down and the pills put back into the original container. This can be done for each pill until all the weeks pills have been sorted. At this point the pills can be dumped into a standard pill box, or lids can be placed on top of the pillboxes. Lids have been provided indicating each day of the week.
A pillbox carrier has been included to help track pill usage.
The pill sorter works equally well for small pills and large pills. It also works equally well using a tongue depressor or a popsicle stick for moving the pills.
I found the pill box to be a little hard to install in the pill sorter. As this is intended for an older audience i made some changes. I made it just a little smaller, looser tolerance, and i added a small wrench to help with the install and removal. I also added a second lid for the sorting tray that could be printed without supports.
