W9ETC Meshtastic Node

This is a very versatile "universal" enclosure.  The PCB Cage in the enclosure accommodates the RAK 19007 Starter Kit, Heltec WiFi LoRa32(V3), Heltec T114, or any other similar board sizes less than 60mm x 35mm x 11mm thick.

Enclosure options include N-type and/or SMA antenna connectors, a waterproof USB-C pass-through connector, and frames/backs to fit 165x165mm, 147x147mm or 145x145mm solar cells.  A MPPT controller is incorporated in the electronics  design to make solar charging more efficient.

Note: PETG is recommended.  Avoid PETG-CF and PLA - both have lower glass transition temperatures which result in warping in the sun.

Apr 2025:

• Refreshed model files and added files for multiple solar cell sizes.  Electronics enclosure size remains unchanged.
• Added a “empty” electronics enclosure with no insides except what is required for the mount screws for those of you who want to do your own thing.
