V3 update: Small purely aesthetical change

I split the tablet into 2 parts, top and bottom. That way, if you want to print them in two colors you can. The pips will show through the color from the back of the card, for better contrast.

V2 update: Some improvements!

  • In V1 the lettering didn't come out well unless you printed it at really high quality. Since you need to make a bunch of these, it's annoying to have to print them that slowly. So I switched from letters to pips, like on dice! These come out reasonably well even on the fastest settings, at least on my machine.
  • I added a mechanism for turning the cards with a geared rod. Just insert the rod through the deck via the hole in the middle of the cards, and turn. Additionally, the rod has one small section that is not geared. This way, if you're working a pattern that requires you to manipulate individual cards, you can move the rod until just that card is in the clear section, and all the others will be held in place while you turn it.

V1:

There are plenty of weaving tablets on here, but almost no hexagonal ones that I can find. Hopefully some people find this useful. Feel free to mess with the dimensions when printing, it's 0.6mm high but I've found them to be sturdy even down to 0.4mm.
