This is just the gear box it must be connected to a crosslide or another spindle or axis to work.

A separate indexing head on the lathe spindle is  necessary.

There is a second additional rocking arm which is mounted on the front plate which allows to cut

S-Lines around the workpiece. In combination with the W-Lines of the backplate rocking arm it's

possible to cut different diamond patterns while change the direction of the rotation.

The gearbox can also be used to cut wooden threads.

The lid is now thicker for better printing quality and with correct boring positions.

09.02.25:

Complete rework of the box design for easier printing and the Backplate is now fixed with magnets to make the change of the gears faster and more comfortable. 

The Left-Right-Switch can now switched from the frontside. 

The 12 teeth gears get a bigger flange.
