Plug for securely holding the end of the filament spool when sealing the Polymaker Polydryer box opening. The plug does not protrude above the top edge when installed in the lid.

Compatible with 1.75mm filament.
The hole in the plug end is designed with a 2° cone angle to secure the filament end of the internal spool.

Inserting and removing the filament end is made easier by slightly rotating the plug.

The holding force is optimal for stiff filament with a high coefficient of friction, but if the dry box is not to be shaken violently, it is absolutely sufficient for soft TPU.

The slit in the conical bore is intended to place the seam. An alternative model is included but using it might result in a worse cone surface.

The spiral pattern creates the surface effect. See the Fine Structured Surface Test Models for more information on that.

The G-Code file was sliced with Orca-Slicer for the Prusa i3 MK3s and Fiberlogy - Matte PET-G - Black.

The included 3MF is an Orca-Slicer project file.

STEP files included.
