Guitar String Mute

This simple mute allows you to more quietly practice with a guitar, or just try out a different tone. Designed to take advantage of the properties of flexible filament such as TPU, the two pieces of this part print quickly and easily with no fussy supports required!

Instructions

I recommend printing the INSERT in TPU. The BASE can be printed out of any material--I used PLA for mine. 

After printing 1 of each part, simply bend the INSERT into a U-shape with the rails facing inwards and slide into the grooves in the BASE.

Once you have the mute assembled, insert it under the strings of your instrument and start playing!
