Looking for some other BCAR options for your Zinc 2.0?  Looking for the Agent 47 aesthetic for your Nerf Hobby?  Look no further.

I dig the Rev 2 Ex BCAR system, and I also dig the Zinc despite all issues and hate it receives, so I thought I would combine the two together.  I am waiting for some barrels to replace the terrible ones I received from a company that shall not be named, so have not done extensive testing yet.  Please send your feedback, and I will adjust.

Print in accordance with the original Rev 2 Ex BCAR instructions, recommend .12 layer height for the threading.  Get associated other parts from the Rev 2 Ex page, and your BCARs from wherever the finest Rev 2 Ex BCARs are located - there are an ever increasing number.

Several files here, also shown in the pictures.

  • Narrow Zinc nose - 13.5mm diameter to align with your metal barrel size, modified to take a M3 20mm screw instead of the pin for the sear.
  • Wide Zinc nose - wider inside, corresponds to original nose diameter, modified to take a M3 20mm screw instead of the pin for the sear.
  • Flat front - for when you don't want a BCAR but want the threads and stuff covered up and a smoother egress for your dart
  • Flat front with slight grooves for aesthetics and grip when unscrewing
  • BCAR mount with room for deco ring
  • BCAR mount with no deco ring section, puts BCAR directly against the front of the Zinc.

You can also find some additional flat/non-BCAR fronts here that will work:

With the threaded insert.. inserted, you can screw one of those flat fronts on in lieu of a BCAR.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

A new nose for the Zinc - added threads for the bcar system.  Adjusted the BCAR parts to fit the new mounting style instead of on a metal barrel with a collet.
