This is a replacement part for broken Release Lever. It adds as much material as possible without compromising functionality. Its still recommended to unload filament without using the lever. Just by either turning the big gear by hand or using the motor itself. This reinforced version is about 30% chunkier then stock with additional material added wherever possible.
Files section has 2 Variants. One thats visually like stock and a shorty version that gives a slightly more upgright finger throw which is more in line with the actual rotation center of the lever.
Caution: Holes have to be 3mm Diameter. If for some reason(following printguide below it should fit) the holes are too small drill out to 3mm. The supported face likely needs sanding. It cant be made wider otherwise the gear might slide on the shaft. So its required to sand that surface until the idler is moving freely without sliding around
PETG or ASA if available(high difficulty). Try to avoid PLA - it creeps which would require retensioning the spring all the time.
layerheight: 0.12-0.20
layerwidth: 0.4
Walls: 6-8(the more the better)
Top/Bottom: 5
Infill: 75%
Precise Wall: on
Wall order: inner/outer/inner
Supports: tree(on buildplate only)
supportangle: 20°
In general, after testing around, i cant recommend printing with support interface material(such as PLA) because due to the material change the print object cools so much that it can cause weak layer bonding/splitting.
Slice with Orca 1.9.1 for N4 . You may need to change the printer to yours in Orca but transfer all the settings over so the Printprocess stays intact. Supports etc are already tuned.
