This model provides slides that allow you to use a 5 liter Samla box as a drawer.
Pint the slides in the provided orientation
Cut off two of the tabs of the box (see picture). Don't cut with brute force, else it might lead to cracks. Use the snipping tool provided with your printer. Squeeze it, then gently wiggle it side to side to loosen the tabs.
Screw on one slide
Loosely place the box and a next slide
Make sure you have sufficient clearance (go with 1-2 mm) as the boxes are slightly bowed inwards (concave) and the slides could be too close together when positioned without clearance. (They might then be stuck or difficult to get out.)
Screw in the next slide.
Repeat from Step 2 on if you have more boxes.
geometric information
The slides have a length of 20 cm
The screwholes are 4mm and chamfered
The slides have a hight of 13mm.
I used as screw of 30mm which gives approx. 17 mm of screw in the board
modifications:
In the slicer you can cut off one side of the slide so that you can place it closer to an edge.
In the slicer you can add a little block to serve as an endstop. In this case you need to place the samla box before you screw the slides onto the board.
the slides could be extended in length in the slicer (y-direction), just note that the hole will get oval. You could also try superpositioning of two models in the slicer.
The 3mf file (Bambuslicer) provide examples of those slicer modifications.
