Squiggle Coat Hook for Wooden Slat

This is a remix of @Line Arc Line's Squiggle Coat Hook that has been adapted to clip onto 25mm or 1 inch wooden slats instead of using screws. This hook is also 1mm thicker than the original and the upper hook is longer.

This hook is customizable in Onshape for different slat thicknesses.

Dimensions

The slat should be 25mm or 1 inch thick and at least 92mm wide. The back of the slat must be accessible and the gap behind the slat must be at least 7mm.

There are two separate versions for 25mm and 1 inch slats.

If you wish to use the hook for slats with different thicknesses you can customize the hook in Onshape by just changing the thickness in the configuration.

Printing

Print the hook in the original orientation. The STL is pre-rotated for printing.

I recommend printing with thick walls for strength.

Recommended Settings

• Perimeters: 5 or more
• Infill: 30% or more
• Top and bottom solid layers: 5
