For my guitar practise/lessons I often find myself needing to draw chord diagrams. Doing this freehand can lead to messy notes, so I designed a stamp to make drawing these more consistent.
The stamp itself is printed in TPU (98A in my case, slightly softer might work but I wouldn't go down too much). The TPU stamps need to be thoroughly sanded before use, to ensure a very flat stamp surface. To facilitate sanding, I have included small sanding blocks.
The handles can be printed in regular PLA. Make sure to include enough walls/infill to make it sturdy enough near the thinnest portion. The optimal print orientation is with the handle-part sticking up, this gives the best surface finish (supports are needed to support the overhang of the stamp holder).
Depending on your printer tolerances, the stamp should be a snug push-fit into the handle, not requiring any adhesive. The small dot on the side of the handle is used to indicate which side of the stamp the nut of the fretboard is on.
Both a large and small version are available, see the guitar pick in the pictures for a size reference.
The author remixed this model.
I used the handle design of the original, but modified the stamp holder part to fit my needs. The stamp itself is a custom design and not taken from the original.
