Holds a Leatherman Wave multitool on a Skadis. Attaches to the Skadis with 2x 2.5 mm Skadis T-nuts.

Materials & assembly

Pick whether you want to use 1 or 2 T-nuts for mounting. 1 T-nut worked just fine for me but 2 would add some extra stability.

For each T-nut, you'll need 1x M2.5 hex nut, 1x M2.5 countersunk machine screw (length 16 mm worked for me).

Print each Skadis T-nut - the 2.5 mm version - and assemble them according to instructions on the model page. The page also explains how to use the T-nuts to attach the model to the Skadis.

The holder model itself should print well without supports, in the same orientation it would be on the pegboard (i.e.: narrow side towards the

Remarks

I tried to make the front wings hold the multitool pretty snugly (so it shouldn't fall out or wobble to an annoying degree), but loosely enough to make it easy to remove and put back without struggle.

It looks like they no longer make the “Wave” specifically, but “Wave+” is now a thing. I have no idea if this would for the Wave+ (or any other multitool).

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I used this holder before, but found it too loose, so I decided to remake a similar holder with 2 Skadis T-nuts (of the 2.5 mm variant).
