Skadis Peggit Clip (T-Nut)

This is a remix of Robert Cowan's Peggit Pegboard Mounting System Clip that works with IKEA SKÅDIS pegboards using the Skadis T-Nuts Mounting System, for strong mount that doesn't rattle.

Printed Parts

Required Hardware

Printing

Print the parts in the original orientation. All STL files are pre-rotated for printing.

• Material: PETG, ABS, ASA, etc.
• Layer height: 0.2mm
• Extrusion width: 0.4 or 0.45mm
• Perimeters: 4
• Infill: 20%

Assembly & Installation

Step 1: Prepare T-Nuts

Insert the hex nuts into the bottom of the T-Nuts. The nuts should fit tightly and must not fall out. Use superglue if the fit is loose and be careful to not get any glue onto the threads.

Step 2: T-Nut Plug Sub-Assemblies

Push the M2.5 screw all the way into the T-Nut Plug. The screw should slide in without biting into the printed part. Screw on the Skadis T-Nut until there is a gap of about 2mm between the Plug and the T-Nut.
Repeat this for the second T-Nut Plug.

Step 3: Complete Assembly

Align the T-Nuts vertically and push both T-Nut Plug sub-assemblies into into the Peggit Clip.

You may optionally add superglue to the T-Nut Plug to permanently bond it to the Peggit Clip for easier handling. The Plugs are only separate parts for printability reasons. They no longer need to come apart. Be careful not to add any glue to the T-Nut or the screw.

Step 4: Installation

Make sure the T-Nuts are aligned vertically and push the whole assembly into the Skadis pegboard. While applying some pressure on the screw driver to make sure the screw head remains flush with the part, tighten both screws.

You are now done.

Removal

To remove, loosen both screws by 1 or 2 full turns while maintaining a bit of pressure on the screw driver. Then pull the whole assembly off the pegboard.
