This model has been completely updated, but I don't feel like I've changed enough to create a new page. This is a simple, wall-mountable headset rest. It can be used with the base, alone, or you can print one of the clip-on arches to go with the base. The ears on the arch will hold it in the center of the base. If you feel significant wobbling when you snap it on, try to slide it forward or backward. The ears are the exact shape of the hole in the “Y” of the frame, so being even a little too far one way means it won't be seated completely in the hole. The arch comes in 3 sizes:

  • Narrow: 120mm
  • Normal: 135mm
  • Wide: 150mm+

To approximate which arch you should use, measure the gap in your headset where the arch ends. I've included a picture to show the area I'm referencing. I would err on the side of rounding up, as that will provide two points of contact at the ends of the arch instead of one in the center. For instance, if you measure your headset at 128mm, use the Normal arch. If you measure it at 126mm, use the narrow arch. The Wide arch fits the Razer Kraken V3 Pro, which is the widest headset I've owned.

For printing, both parts should already be properly aligned. If not, the base prints on its side with the holes parallel to the print surface. I use enable supports for this part, and they should only generate in the holes for the screws and screwdriver. I've included a screenshot to show where supports should be generated and the proper orientation. For the arches, they print on the side and I do not use supports. If you aren't confident in your printer's ability to form the small bridge, enable the supports.
