This is a case for a pair of 5x5mm LED strips, and ESP8266 module. I'm using the strips as readouts from Home Assistant, via ESPHome. Readings in this example are CO2 levels and Solar Generation.
There's a 3mf file with the diffuser windows placed and coloured appropriately, or there are individual stl files if you want to arrange it yourself. The diffuser windows should be printed in white filament (I used PLA). The case could be printed in any color, but black or something opaque will yield the best results.
There's a backplate to hold the LED strips in place, which attaches with two short M2 bolts, and keeps the LEDs flush with the diffusers. You could also use adhesive.
The rear plate and ESP8266 mount also uses M2 bolts. The rear plate has a hole for a push-fit USB-C connector, or to route a power cable through.
