The ZRail Toy Train Tracks has a reversible Z connector that allows reorienting the curves without flipping them upside down, keeping their appearance intact (sleepers on the bottom and rails on top). The only pieces with a left and right side are the railroad switches.
The adapters for the LILLABO and Playtive types are the size of a straight track.
INSTRUCTIONS
All pieces have a small line at the base connecting all the sleepers. It is used to hold the sleepers in place in case any of them come loose from the printer bed until the rails on top secure them permanently. This line can and should be removed after printing.
The straight tracks and the curve have holes for fixed mounting. The hole is designed for a 3mm countersunk screw.
None of the pieces require supports. The overhangs are positioned downward during normal use, making them invisible, and they are small enough not to cause dripping, although this depends on the slicer settings.
The switches work the same way as real train switches – the pivot point is located on the side of the fork.
The assembly requires four 2.5mm metric screws each, with flat/countersunk heads and 8mm in length.
The assembly was done by tightening the screw directly into the plastic until the piece was secured, but without over-tightening. After all the screws are in this position, the pivot screws are loosened by half a turn, and those of the link by 1.5 turns (The link should be half a millimeter below the surface). The movement should be free without the pieces being too loose.
