Elegant and satisfying fidget toy.
The .f3d file includes many User Parameters for customization. You can adjust cones size, number of "arms", their thickness, length, roundness, twist, clearance between the two parts and some other parameters. The names of User Parameters are pretty self-explanatory.
Some combinations of Parameters may result in errors on the timeline, be careful.
Additionally, last steps (involving chamfers and fillet) are not necessary, so feel free to undo them in timeline. It is also recommended to play with main Parameters with these steps undone and include them (if needed) only after the main shape of cone is ok, because they can cause significant freezing/lagging during recalculation.
With the default values for following parameters the cones are compatible with Spiral Balls and Spiral Hourglass: ArmWidth, ArmLength, ArmsCount, ArmsInnerFillet and TwistPerMm.
You can find all default User Parameters in the last picture.
There are also .stl files for all cones from the preview.
Note: these files are untested. They are here mostly to demonstrate the potential of the parametric .f3d file and to show different forms you can get with it.
