This rack mount allows you to use ¾" dowel rods to hold filament in a cupboard.
The poles snap in so they don't interfere with the spools, and the hole is just slightly smaller than 19mm to ensure tightness. The idea with the space on the end is the possibility of adding a smooth ring to allow rotation so one could print right from the rack. Still a work in progress.
In the meantime if you don't care about printing anything from the rack, just cut the model down to 8mm and it'll sit flush to the side.
I recommend PETG for the mounts for flexibility and the tendency for PLA to let go of things when under constant pressure.
You'll need a set of 4 mounts, all listed in the models. the fronts have a closed front so you don't see the gap, while the rear mounts are open. You can choose either style front or back, as they are the same dimensionally.
A jig is included to ensure proper spacing and alignment. Just place a level underneath the jig and hold it in place as you screw the mounts in. 1-¼" countersunk screws work best.
