You will need a standard broomstick, screws to attach the broomstick adapter to the lower part of the original, bolts to mount the battery and converter bracket, and a switch.
The converter bracket will mount a 12v stepdown for an M18 battery. The siren is much louder going straight off the battery but will heat the motor up much quicker, which is where the cooling horn comes in.
The author remixed this model.
Created a few parts for the original siren. I wanted to be able to use it while marching around so I made adapters for it so it can be mounted on the end of a standard broomstick and powered with a Milwaukee M18 battery.
I also included a modified horn that vents the air produced by the siren back onto the motor to keep it cool as prolonged use of the siren heated the motor up to the point it would melt the rotor and housing. The vented horn should have a negligible impact on the noise produced. I used one of the vented horns on mine and it kept the motor cool after an hour of continued use.
