Filament Dry Box with Sensor Mount - Remix

This is a remix of the original 3D Printed Filament Dry Box. The main modification I made was adding a hole for a temperature and humidity sensor, such as the one available here, allowing you to monitor the conditions inside the dry box. I also designed sealing rings for this sensor and the box's top cover, which can be printed in TPU for a better fit and seal.

Key Features:

  • Sensor Mount: Dedicated hole for a temperature and humidity sensor, helping you track internal conditions.
  • Sealing Rings: TPU-printable rings for both the sensor and the top cover, ensuring a better seal to keep your filament dry.
  • Optional Spool Holder Mount: Designed to accommodate the Bambu Lab X1C Side Mount Spool Holder for easy filament management.
  • PTFE Tube Compatibility: An option to connect a PTFE tube on top of the box, serving multiple purposes:
    • No need for a cap to seal the filament opening.
    • Easily pull the filament out without opening the box, keeping moisture out. Just disconnect the PTFE pipe on top on the side leading into the box.
    • Direct connection to a PTFE mount on your printer for smoother filament feeding.

  • .SLDPRT files for SolidWorks, in case you want to adjust or remix the design.
