I had a side project needing a 20v source at a time when name brand chargers were unavailable except at scalper prices. The Elefly DCB112 solved the charging need very well for $20. But annoyingly and surprisingly it doesn't have a built in wall mount option.

NOTE: This probably works for some other off-brand chargers… They often use the same injection molds for casing, if not everything else.

If you already have the Elefly DCB112, skip ahead for the wall mount. But if you still need to buy a charger, there may be better options. The name brand chargers fluctuate in price wildly. Sometimes the actual Dewalts are only a few dollars more. Other times they are 4 times the price. So here is a list of single-battery Dewalt compatable chargers to check current prices on:

Tops, fastest: Dewalt DCB115 (5-amp, was $55): https://amzn.to/3zt4Pwt
Tops, almost as fast: Dewalt DCB1104 (4-amp, was $26): https://amzn.to/3ZnHl6x
Excellent, slower: Dewalt DCB112 (2-amp, was $32): https://amzn.to/3TnTNQ8
Very good, slower: Elefly DCB112 (2-amp, was $19): https://amzn.to/3zifslJ

Anyway, if you are still reading and need this print, I hope it solves your mounting needs as well as it did mine. Cheers!

BOM:

  • Filament: I'm sure most filament types would work. I used ABS. Any particularly brittle filament would be a bad choice, due to the need to flex the arms around the charger: https://amzn.to/3YVCtpc

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • As a structural part this should be printed with 3 or more wall and top layers, and 20 to 40% infill.

  • Once printed, it's easiest to mount first. Though it is compatible with clipping it on first and then hanging it like a power strip.

  • Place the narrow/thin bottom of the charger into the short side hooks. Then press it back, bending the longer hooks until it snaps into place.
