Snowman Clam Shell Ornament and Gift Box - "2024" & No Year Options

This is an updated version of a previous design of mine which reflects the year change, as well as a few other minor tweaks. I have also included a set of beveled edge ornaments, to go with the original rounded edge version. You print a front and a back of the style that you desire (with or without the year). I found that printing with supports on 15 degree angles, or less, works pretty well – supports are mainly placed under the hat area. This makes clean-up easier. The halves can be secured together with a ribbon through the eyelet in the hat. A tree hanger ribbon would also use this eyelet.

I designed this a few years ago, initially to store a USB drive. I have since modified it and two years ago, I placed a little money inside as a prize for the first person to notice that there was something inside the ornament.

• The year has been updated for “2024”
• There are two edge options now – original rounded, and a new beveled edge.
• The assembly posts are now rounded slightly
• There are two small additions to the inside compartment to remove a potentially dangerous sharp point (on the sides where the two main circles intersect).
