Stepcraft 43 mm holder for 33 mm laser

This is an adapter I created to mount a 33 mm 0.5 W laser that came with my old 1610 CNC machine to a Stepcraft 43 mm holder.

The parametric model was created in FreeCAD. The files I publish match what I printed. It works, but it could use some tweaking - the “Holder OD” parameter could probably be made 0.5 mm larger, because with the current version, I have to tighten the Stepcraft holder screw quite firmly.

Printed on Prusa MK3S from Prusament PLA, but PETG would be a better option for more powerful lasers to prevent softening from heightened temperature.

0.3 mm layer height, 15 % infill, 3 vertical shells, support on build plate only; to be printed upside down (smaller outer diameter facing up).
