Base Roto Vitamins Mounting

Roto Vitamins allows you to integrate the optimized lightweight gearbox from our Roto Direct Drive Extruder into your toolhead, enhancing your print quality. 

You can use Base Roto Vitamins in your setup as it is or as the base for a custom cover to fit into a specific printer. 

PRINT SETTINGS

Base Roto Vitamins cover is designed based on DfAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing). It was developed to be 3D printed without support with the front face that has the E3D logo on it placed down on the printing bed. 

Following are the recommended print settings: 

• Material: ASA/ABS (Avoid using PLA as they may warp due to the heat of everyday printing.)
• Perimeters: 4
• Top layers: 5
• Bottom layers: 5
• Infill: 40%

ASSEMBLY

• Make sure to print all the necessary STL files before starting this upgrade. 
• Fixings are not included in the Roto Vitamin kit, make sure to source them beforehand. The fixings required for this upgrade are the following: 
  • 1 x M3x12mm 
  • 2 x M3x30mm
  • 1 x M3x35mm
