Modular Multilayer Rotary Storage Tower/Rack

OVERVIEW

A customisable storage device which can have as many rotating layers as you require, simply print another layer and add it to the stack with the snap joint and voila!

The one I printed is at 50% scale as I didn't have enough filament for a full size but it still works and I have tested the snap joints at 100%.

PRINTING

Designed for 0.2mm layers but you can use 0.3mm to speed up the print if you fancy although if you do remember to drop the amount of horizontal layers otherwise time saving is negligible.

10% rectilinear for all parts except handle at 10% gyroid.

Make sure to select “support on build plate only” and use these perfect settings for tower top/tower layer/tower handle.

ASSEMBLY

Simply print as many layers as you wish and once you have removed the support material from the snap joint just assemble them ontop of each other and cap each end with the top/base.  To attach the handle insert one of the ends into the top and carefully pull the other end until it pops over and into the hole.
