Since I couldn't order my favorite italian clothpegs in my country, I played a bit with bezier curves in openscad, made a terrible quick and dirty scad file but the thing works for me.

Edit (21/02/18): Just improved the openSCAD file quite a bit. Much nicer now.

Edit (21/02/23): Added some reinforcement tab mainly to prevent breaking.

Edit (15/07/24): Just tried to print my old design on my Ender v3 KE in PLA with breaking results. So I changed the SCAD and STL until the resulting peg performed better.

So here it is: my version of a springless one piece print in place clothpeg.

I printed it with PETG and I don't know if it will last for more than a few days. I think it will break after too much sunlight.

(Update 23/03/21: Thing is sturdier than I thought. No losses or breaks after more than two years)

(Update 27/05/25): The pegs made of PLA in 2018 lost tension so I replaced them with PETG-ones - now printed on an Ender 3 V3 corexz.

Print it with support, remove the support and move one "arm" across/above the other (pictures should explain it). You could try it without support, and may work.

You are very welcome to make it better (scad file included).

Have Fun

New: v1_1 is generated by the better openSCAD file v1_2 reinforced version v1_3 some improvements, better performance with PLA
