CRG Yamaha Bar End Adapter (MT-09)

Overview

This is an adapter for CRG bar end mirrors for my Yamaha MT-09, but it should fit all Yamahas with an M6 mounting bolt for the ends.

Printing

v1

Print out 4 of these, flat side down.

I suggest PETG or another filament that won't soften in heat or sunlight (I recommend against PLA)

v2

Print out 2 cores and 4 outer rings. They should be oriented so that everything is standing up. Support material will be required.

Again, I suggest PETG or similar.

The main changes are to hopefully minimize squish-- despite using PETG, the plastic still deformed under high mounting torque and high heat.

Installation

v1

1. Clamp the mirrors on two halves
2. Install with the stock M6 bolts
3. ???
4. Profit

v2

1. Assemble two outer rings around one core, being sure to line up the notches
2. Clamp mirror
3. Install with the stock M6 bolts
4. ???
5. Profit

Despite having an additional step compared to v1, I have full confidence in your ability to assemble v2
