Description

PDF

I needed a small network rack for my networking needs in my room. It can fit a couple of Raspberry Pi's. Should fit most 5 to 8 port switches and on top you could put on an AP if you need WLAN. If someone could improve on the design I would be happy.

EDIT: uploaded wrong Network_rack_top_cover.stl. Now it is fixed and the best versions is up.

On the picture I have there still some older versions of this. So it doesn't look too clean. Also the cable management is bad but I don't care.

How I Designed This ===================

I just needed a small cool network rack for my needs to stack networking gear on top in a cleanest way possible. My friend made an initial design and I have built upon it. I wanted it to be vertically expandable and also tool-less. No screws or anything is needed. You just put the things in and connect them with UTP cables together.
