These are 16 ligne buttons, the same size used for men's shirts. They are 10.16mm in diameter and have holes sized for sewing. Corners are nicely rounded, and the inside of the button is concave on the front. Possibly useful during a wardrobe emergency :)

SolveSpace file is included so that you can modify to your needs.

Print instructions

Category: Accessories Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: Prusa Clone

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Notes:

The buttons in the photos were printed with a 0.4mm nozzle. I used 0.1mm layer height, and either 0.1 or 0.2mm width (most were 0.2mm). It was an experiment to see what resolution I could get from this nozzle - it would be perfectly fine to use other settings. Prints with no supports.

Post-Printing

Optional post processing

One of the buttons has a more matte finish. I hit it with a green scrubby a bit to rough it up, and finished with an acetone rub. Gives it a look like bone or wood with the plastic I used. They look good right off the printer though.
