Add a picatinny rail to the stock of your Crosman 1077 air rifle.
This likely will only work on the synthetic (plastic) stock.
Required:
- 3x m4 countersunk screws
- 3x m4 nuts
Installation Instructions:
- Remove 3 screws from bottom of stock, refer to photo 8 for rough locations. 2 screws are plastic screws, and the foremost screw is a machine screw.
- Remove the barrel assembly from the stock, refer to photo 7 to see the two pieces apart.
- Use the rail to mark 3 holes on the synthetic stock. Drill them using an appropriate-sized drill bit (i.e.: slightly larger than an m4 screw).
- insert the 3 m4 nuts into the stock insert (ref: photo 2 & 3).
- insert the stock insert into the stock, then screw 3 m4 countersunk screws into each of the holes, lining them up with the insert nuts (ref: photo 4 & 5).
- (optional) test the picatinny rail with just the stock (ref: photo 6).
- reassemble the air rifle by placing the barrel assembly into the stock and inserting the 3 screws from step 1, assuring the machine screw is the foremost screw. (ref: phone 7 & 8).
- add attachments to the picatinny rail (ref: photo 9).
