@MathiasGordo_1051538 It's a shame that creality puts so many flaws and bugs in their otherwise very good devices.
But I'm glad I could help you with this :)
Happy printing!
I managed to unscrew all the wires for the bed from the controller board and rearrange the wires inside the case, it gave me 3-4 cm and the model now fits perfectly without any kinks :)
I will update my original comment. (edited)
@Bananenminist_401847 thank you for your reply.
I have opened the case and can confirm that there is no more cable to give.
I can maybe rearrange the cables to give myself a bit more, but sad that its required.
A manufacturing mistake perherps?
Or maybe Creality started making the cables shorter on newer models to prevent it getting cought on the Y motor?
In that case it hasn't really solved anything, since it gets cought on the contour of the base instead.
I guess I will just have to look for another solution, or make one myself.
Again, thank you for getting back to me :) (edited)
@MathiasGordo_1051538 Hi, if the cable routing is preventing your Y movement, then your cable is too short. Check if the cable protrudes too far inside your case.
You should in no case bend your cable as shown in your picture, this will cause a cable break. If your print bed with the complete cable guide (with all chain links and properly rotated) can at least drive to Y=0, you should leave it like that.
I would rather not be able to pull the print bed so far forward instead of provoking a cable break.
Thanks for your review.
Update: I rewired the cables for the bed inside the case and gained 3-4 cm more cable for the bed.
If anyone is having issues with too short a cable, see the pictures in my comments.
Original comment:
Unfortunately it restricts the Y movement on my new Ender 3 S1 Pro.
I was only able to pull the bed all the way forward if I used 1 link and only with the clip on the upwards side. (Opposite of what it's supposed to be)
It seem to be working in this configuration, but time will tell.
Beside that it's a well made product. (edited)
