Made a few of these to save remnants near end of spool so I could upcycle the spools for storage.
As a result of the center hub being smaller than a standard filament spool, I designed and printed a holder for these size spools. The holder has a fixed hub and is wrapped with teflon coated fiberglass tape for bind-free and low-friction feeding to my printer.
Interesting use of Height Range Modifiers and infill to achieve the effect. I didn't know you could do that!
