I got so annoyed with the pedals moving, so I created this two-piece mount. Originally posted by me on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3230045), now moved here.

Required:

Four 20~3-mm M6 bolts, preferrable 2 of them with a flat head
Double-sided velcro

Steps:

Print the parts, I used PETG for durability against strain
Cut off four parts of velcro
Screw the mounts to the pedal base (see pictures)
Use the velcro to attach the mount to the chair (see pictures)
I use the mount original velcro together with this mount
