Built-in weighted.

There are subtle hints built into the pieces to help those just learning chess. For instance:

King - eight shallow divots signifying the limited move distances.
Queen - eight deep divots signifying the unlimited distance moves.
Bishop - a small \u2018X\u2019 on its rear indicating the diagonal moves.
Knight - a small upside-down \u2018L\u2019 indicating the shape of its moves.
Rook - Four merlons (the bumps on the top of the wall) horizontal/vertical moves.

No supports needed.

I printed with 3 walls and lightning infill. This makes the base weight even more significant.
