The V-Spooler Rail Mod is free on Makerworld but it would be great if you can support me by buying it here. A cheaper alternative is to join my club for at least a month, which gives you access to this and other models for the duration of membership.

My manufacturing partner VisionToCreate3D provides hardware kits, printed parts and fully assembled V-Spoolers at their store, for which Fyrby Additive receives a percentage. You can find the rail mod here.

It brings improvements including:

Very stable and no more wobble
The carrier and filament holder are merged, smaller and stronger
Much simpler, uses less parts and easier assembly/disassembly
Better quality re-spooling

We have conducted a few tests and are pretty happy with it, here is the first test:

Please note the guide and parts list are currently incomplete and possibly a bit wrong, and I am working to finish them as soon as possible.

To add this mod to an existing V-Spooler, you will need the following additional hardware:

LML9B 100mm linear rail
4x M3 heat set inserts (Ruthex or CNC kitchen work great)
