Even without pin headers and without any cables. The lid then no longer fits. In addition, the lid is modelled so precisely that it no longer fit into the base, at least with the settings of my printer. I would have left a little more clearance for the retaining lugs. On the other hand, the D1 mini has too much space on the sides in all directions for my taste and slides around. \nSince you didn't provide the original input files, I couldn't make any corrections to the model myself. Without further ado, I have now modelled my own housing. I printed this with the filament I had loaded at the moment...specifically ESun 3D PETG Fire Engine Red.

I printed with 0.25mm layer height.

This is a prototype...a work-in-progress. It will change as I collect feedback.

I actually modelled what is here without even owning the part to be fit inside. A friend in a far away place asked for help with a model and gave only calliper dimensions.
