This is the ideal Hexagonal NASA Chainmail model for FDM.

I increased the thickness of the chain from 1.2~1.5 to 1.8(mm), making it easy to print and more than twice as strong while keeping the size of the original.
I designed this to have almost the same flexibility as the original.

Printing was successful even at 70% size.

All versions of .step files are provided for you so you can edit easily. (Prusaslicer 2.5 and later versions can directly load .step as well as .stl files)

A large version of this model takes more than 2 hours to slice. So, I provided .gcode files for MK3/S/+.
