With the tolerances of the frame and print stacking I had to slightly file the top and bottom sides, but now the fit is *chef's kiss* perfect.
Tip: use a modifier box on the center to remove the top and bottom layers instead of doing it for the whole model, this keeps it on the latches. Use the "fill angle" setting to rotate the infill as required.
