With a bit of force on the back cap i could jam it in, and im pretty sure i can get it out if i jam it trough all the way and push the rest with e.g. a chopstick, dowel or 3d printed rod. \n\nI tried both Carbon fiber reinforced PETG and PTU. Personally i preffer the PETG as its a more rigid, smooth sleeve over the bumpy/grainy feeling PTU. I printed the PETG with 100% infill at 245C at 100mm/s speed. The CF PETG also gives a nice matt surface, and some extra grip.\n\nCura version 5.9 has a new feature called Z scarf seam that i tried and it perfectly eliminated the Z seam leaving behind a smooth surface without any bumps. There is a super tiny divet maybe 0.01mm deep that you can see under light but its not noticable unless you look. \n\nPrinted in a somewhat modified Ender 3 PRO (dual Z axis), new motherboard. The rest is just cosmetic upgrades to make it look \"cool\" and organized. The only thing i had to get used to is that the pencil doesn't fit in its regular case slot anymore (wich is a given). So i opted to transport it inside my general pencil case instead that i use for university and work anyway. If you are super scared to \"damage\" the pencil you can always print out a screw shut case that envelops the entire pen. (you have to scale it up a bit, but theres plenty of models on printables).\n\nAll in all, nice design, practical, fits perfectly (if your printer is calibrated) and have 0 flaws to discuss. Print instructions

Tolerances need to be really tight because Apple has made the pencil surface near-frictionless. Print a 1mm test slice from the middle to test fit. Or jam a tiny piece of electrical tape inside the sleeve if you printed it too loose.

Scale z to taste. XL has minor non-symmetric details that might fit right-handed users better. Mirror an axis for left-handed use. Or don't.
