Add gas struts/springs to the Prusa XL Exclosure Lid to make opening and closing it easier. This also allows you to put the Prusa XL Enclosure on a rack that has a shelf right above. Adjustable for two open heights.

Parts

2x Gas Struts (30-40N, 6in). I prefer the gentler feel of the 30N ones, but I've tested both. 20N is not strong enough.
4x M4x12
4x M4x8r (you should have extras from the enclosure build)
10x M3x10 (you might have extras from different Prusa kits)
1x Left and Right Frame Printed Parts
2x Lid Printed Parts

Printing Instructions

Print with PETG, 3 walls and 20% infill. PLA will soften in the enclosure.

Installation Instructions

Attach the lid printed parts to the lid with the M4x12 screws
Attach the long gas strut connectors to the lid printed parts with M4x8r screws such that the ball joints are facing the side of the printer (not the center).
Attach the round gas strut connectors to the frame printed parts with M3x10 screws.
Attach the frame printed parts to the Prusa Enclosure frame with M3x10 screws.
- Holes with dots: lid opens as high as possible.
- Holes without dots: lid opens level with the top rear of the enclosure.
Press the gas struts onto their ball joints.
I removed the magnets on the lid since the gas struts hold the door closed on their own and the magnets just add unnecessary extra pull force when opening.
