This certainly is a lot better than making my own springs with pipe cleaners which my cat promptly flattened within minutes. Definitely needed to use "supports everywhere" in order to get smooth surfaces, due to the spring bouncing around when the nozzle tries to lay down filament. Of the two in my picture, the one on the right was printed without supports. That being said, my cat plays with both, although the smoother one, printed with supports, rolls more easily.
