Replace the cable with a plugit adapter. The change is reversible.
Needed:

Festool replacement part # 489742
two #6-32 x \u00bd'' machine screws

To install:

Mark which plugit adapter cable replace the black/white cable
Remove the cable, strain relief and cable clamp
Install the part using the existing clamp screws
Trim the extra adapter cables by ~45mm to fit in the router
Install the adapter, secure with screw
Secure the cables to the terminal blocks.
