"Shaft mount" is a mount for a piece of steel rod, so you can wrap the paracord around it and you do not need to use the screws. After you are done weaving, you just pull it out.
"Thingy" was originally ment to be used with the screws (M4), but after some time I found it too thick. Both of those part are optional for the use.
Nice model, prints well. My print is silver PLA at .3 or .35 layer height. I messed up the print pause, so I didn't insert nuts and I simply used heated inserts. M3 for the small screws, M5 for the lock screw in the middle. This worked reasonably well, even though the surrounding construction wasn't quite prepared to take the nuts. Works and has served me well. One suggestion: maybe add holes so you can screw the jig down to a work surface or piece of wood. It is quite light, so depending on what you're working on, you might end up dragging the whole thing around unnecessarily. Thanks for publishing!
