The extruder on the SV06 can get quite hot, due to the weak stock fan, especially when printing high temperature filaments in enclosures.

This adapter allows a much stronger 5015 fan to keep the heat break and extruder motor cool and reduce the chance of heat creep related jams during printing. It is designed NOT to interfere with the existing motion system so no reduction in print volume is needed.

Suggest print in ABS or (at a minimum) PETG with supports touching the buildplate for the arm overhang. No other supports should be required, but this is up to you. I printed with 15% infill and 2 perimeters and it is plenty strong enough. 0.16 layer height recommended but 0.2 is fine.

Requires 1x M4x20mm bolt which self taps into the arm; screw the bolt in first (without the fan) to create the thread, this will make everything come together more easily. All other fixings are reused from the stock setup.

You'll likely need to crimp a new terminal to match the tiny (silly) micro JST 1.25mm header.
