@Ambrosia_285561 It is meant to be printed flat on its face without supports. I made the internals to be printed without supports.
@Ambrosia_285561 just point the overhangs where your blower fans are on your current printer so that you have proper cooling on the overhangs and you should be fine.
@Gulsifer Right, I did print it flat on its face, but I was scared about the internals and even more about the fangs! I will try again later with no supports and perhaps with a different filament. I'm just annoyed that the fangs don't look as pretty now because I used supports, it will work fine. Thanks for looking at my make, and for your work on this project, I will use more of your parts in my Rook Mk1! :-)
Nice design. Very adorable and small toolhead. This is the long 4010 version with a Trianglelab TCHC TD6S hotend. I couldn't work out a good orientation to print it without supports, so I might make it again if I discover the correct answer. Printed in QIDI Tech rapid ABS. The 3010 fan pretty much wants to stay where it is, but I added a dab of superglue to keep it in place, steel screws seemed like overkill. We'll see how well that holds up. (edited)
