@panKrasny_146882 thanks for your remark, will add special note for accuracy fighters
@panKrasny_146882 You are right. But especially because internal bevel is not correspond neither you data nor mine but H parameter does (edited)
I printed lots of nuts and bolts from fusion360 and they always worked with real screws.
I printed your nut (out of laziness) once and it did not fit at all. (edited)
Why dont you print the nut and try it on real screw? It will instantly end this debate.
@ealux well your model is obviously incorrect. In your table, d3 is 6.5
Picture of your model clearly shows 5.85
5.85 is waaay smaller than 6.5 from your table. (edited)
@panKrasny_146882 Try to reproduce your technical sheet on M8 nut and m8 bolt. Took the following results. There are no tolerance as well no number like 5.74. The nearest one is 5.85 but its a measurement of D1 in your figure, not D2. So D2 is 6.93. I do not understand language on your figure, but i think it's one of standards represented. I added one of the standard in my country. There is tolerance too. Many standards apply differences in matirial and accuracy class (A, B etc.) and so on. On last screen presented a bit of variation of nuts from one special producer with stadards references. Additionally, Fusion 360 has its own view on metric thread representation. Is it necessary that these models fit exactly your suggested sizes? (edited)
I printed the tall version of the nut.
I mean the D2 diameter. On you M8, it is 5.74, on Fusion 360 it is 7.25. The one from Fusion360, which is also well within values from the table, works fine with real metsl m8 screw.
The one printed from your file is too small. (edited)
@ealux The issue is not with the diameter you are showing on the picture (even though for 3d printing, it should have tiny bit of clearance).
The issue is with the threads themselves. Their diameter for your "M8" nut is 5.74mm, which is waaay to small for M8 nut..
If I take M8 nut from Fusion360 and print it with same print setting, I get 7.25mm, which is well within the tolerance.
@panKrasny_146882 i've checked Nuts/M8.stl in Prusa, Blender and origins in AutoCAD. Size is good, screens are there. As well, i've checked Nuts_Low/M8.stl in Prusa, see it below. Can you please point where you have a problem? Is it relevant slicer setting? Does the rest of base deserves this rating? Are you sure printing Nuts not Nuts_Low? (edited)
I've printed M8 nut and it is 2mm too small.
Thank you for your effort but something is wrong. At least with M8 nut.
