No matter if you’re scratching, mixing or browsing tracks — encoder knobs are the quiet heroes of every controller. So let’s give them a little spotlight!

We’re challenging you to create your own custom encoder or fader knob: something that adds style, comfort, precision or just bit of personality to your DJ setup. Cool geometry, better grip, fun shapes, better functionality — you can design anything, as long as it fits.

No Controller? No Problem!

Just like the last time: you don’t need to own a Hercules controller to join in. Hercules has provided all the files you need to design a knob that fits perfectly: just click here!

The Challenge

Design a knob that:

  • works with a standard DJ encoder or fader,
  • fits the provided Hercules specifications,
  • is stylish, ergonomic, functional — or all three,
  • stands out with originality.

Your design can be tailored specifically for the DJControl Inpulse 200 series, or you can go the universal.
