@SKMGEEK_714709 the STEP files are included. Otherwise I only have Solidworks files - but very few people have this programme, and I add the desired diameter on request as described.
@zeddiArts_524455 I personally think you should still upload the Solidworks files, as people who do know how to use it will benefit greatly!
I edited the model to just be the side pieces, to save on printing time & material. Very happy with this solution! 👍
great idea :)
@miesmud_2351948 can you share your remix?
I took this on for a challenge. My first print didn't go so well, lol. I increased the nozzle temperature slightly and expanded the supports a bit. It came out... salvageable. The blades still won't turn freely - they hit the sides of the boat. Maybe they sagged during printing, or maybe the tower should be about 3mm taller. It's a neat challenge, though. I included a screenshot showing where my supports were.
eSUN PLA+, 0.15mm layer height, 220 degree nozzle temp
@AyladtheRedP_2991336 i created it so that the wheel has virtually zero mm clearance. but now that you mention it, that makes no sense at all. 3mm higher would be better :D
@zeddiArts_524455 lol yeah. I can make the wheel do a full rotation but I have to manipulate the blades a bit; it won't spin on its own. Doesn't matter - I just wanted to see what it would take to get it to print 😄
Fits well and is helpful for all my Bambu lab filament spools
@NicholasRita_1220917 Thank you. If you attach it the other way round, the Chamfer can prevent the filament from getting stuck ;)
work grate, my keyboard legs broke so I searched for something close enough, found this model, I have the 600 and the legs are bit taller than the 400 but I don't really mind.
thanks a lot:)
