I have not tried without supports, but I'd guess it wouldn't end up well without them. I recommend NOT using organic supports as they are actually more difficult to completely remove from the inside of the case.

Fantastic case! My grandpa really needed a new phone case, but iPhone 11 cases are incredibly difficult to find and print or buy. This was great! Thank you so much!! (edited)
I've printed this model from PETG , but it seems that the bottom part where are holes for screws is too thin and it actually broke after hanging two 850g spools.
@Powerack Sorry that you had this experience. The thin bottom part is made to be the same thickness as the stock metal part, therefore it is definitely a weak spot. If you want to give this model another go I suggest using more infill and/or more walls. As shown in the pictures attached below this spool holder should be cable of holding at least 3.3kg (edited)
hallo ich habe heute die step datein ruter geladen muste aber nach dem druck feststellen das sie die zeichnung fehlerhaft veröfentlicht haben den die schanier halterungen halen nicht richtig zusammen und es gibt zwar einkärbungen zum einrasten bem verschließen aller ding fehlt das gegen stück was einrasten soll allso leider ein unnötiger druck für meinen mülleimer schade auf den bilden habe ich versucht zu zeigen wo das problem liegt
I used a hot air gun to soften the clamps at the hinges so they don't break. After putting the two sides together, I instantly used plyers to ensure they close. This seems to work great with PLA. (edited)
