I'm the author of the original file. Fantastic remix, I may move over to this at some point. The place I have it is at the end of a narrow space so you would only ever see it from the side if you were walking through the doorway to the eqt room its next to. I can see if you could look at it side on it would be chonky.

There are a few of things I would change if I were to make another one, if you're planning on adopting it I would recommend making these changes.
1. The flange should be bigger so the cutout can be square. Right now the flipper rails require notches. I was trying to minimize overall size but it's actually smaller than I expected next to a standard lightswitch, I would redesign it to match the dimensions of a standard 2 gang wall plate exactly, or at least the exact height.
2. The faceplate is not symmetrical, same reason, trying to minimize overall size. It just ended up making the model harder to adjust.
3. I added spacers below the controller to make minor adjustments easier, totally unnecessary.
Still working on getting a smooth, glossy finish on the faceplate so it looks like it was injection molded. I'll post a final pic once it's installed.
